Psalm 15
God, who is counted among the saints?
Who has a special place with?
Only those who always do what is right,
and only speak the truth;
who don’t spread rumours
nor cause harm to their friends,
nor cause trouble with their neighbours;
who don’t take advantage of the poor
by charging them too much or paying too little.
who denounce evil and hurtful behaviour,
and hold in high esteem those who honour you.
Those who do these things
and live lives full of goodness surely belong to you;
But I believe that there is still room
for people who have made mistakes,
who have lived less than perfect lives,
but want to do better.
Surely there is room for all with you,
for we will be transformed by your grace
and everlasting love.
